Hi, and I hope you had a great break and have a great 2010.

I have now launched my fairy business, and have obtained my approval certificate from the supreme tooth fairy - Lavender Lou.

I create and supply fairy doors, each one individual and unique, to attach to your skirting board. When the fairies fly around at night they see your magic stars and enchantment dust that you will have sprinkled outside your fairy door, and they will know they are welcome to visit you.
Then the fun (and sometimes mischief) occurs!

Check the www.fairynuffstuff.co.uk recent reports page to see what's has been going on.
These doors are bringing an extra sprinkle of joy and imagination to young and young at heart, get yours now!

Each door comes beautifully packaged in an organza bag, with instruction scroll, magic stars, and enchantment dust, for only £5 and will make a perfect gift or treat, that will cherished for a lifetime.
Embrace the magic!

Cupcakes are me!

Although I have been making stuff, I haven't been posting regularly- well I intend to change from now that and keep in touch!

It was Lily's 3rd birthday last weekend, and I made this great strawberry iced cupcakes, and then decorated them with chocolate stars (special order from Lily), pink edible glitter and some embellishments I made with my cricut.

I am really pleased with how they turned out, and when the family came for afternoon tea, they were suitably impressed! Then... they ate them all!!

I hope they make you feel like baking a batch!

More soon... cupcakes, blog and crafts!!!

poster for gala day!

This is the poster that I have made for the craft area that I will be running to fundraise for our school at our local Gala Day.
The background is poster-board sprayed with random radiant rain, then glitter glue (stick it) splodged everywhere.
I then cut storybook letters on my cricut, stuck them on silver paper and hand cut around that. I then finished of with a selection of embellishments. I thinks it's very effective.
Thanks for stopping Bye!

This a card I loved making. It is for the competition run by papercraft inspirations magazine, for a chance to be on Dawn Bibby's qvc program.  I had a to make a birthday card inspired by one of Dawns favourite things. She loves handbags so off I went!
I used a mirri card a4 base, run through my big shot twice, using the swiss dots cuttlebug folder.
I then hand cut a bag out of pink and black patterned paper, and used a maya road chipboard piece as I handle- first embossing it in the big shot and colouring it with pink radiant rain
 pearlesant paint.
I cut an intricate frill from hologram card on my big shot and stuck it on the bottom of the bag, and highlighted the bag with punched flowers, and polka dot organza ribbon. A happy birthday stamped on a scrap of miri card, matted with matching paper to the bag and I was almost finished.
I then stamped a few bags on the envelope and a few florishes and bags inside the card and wrote and sent it! I hope i win!
happy days

schoolboy fun

This is a fun card using the schoolboy stamp from Jolly nation. i have stamped using versafine ink it on cryogen white sparkly cardstock, then coloured it using prismacolour pencils and zest it.
I then cut out a squiggle on my big shot using the sizzix extended cut die and stuck it on the left side!
This would be great as a new school card, a birthday card, a school achievement card etc. Enjoy your ink!
